Back in February, when New York Fashion week came to a close, the color red was clearly the big color of the season. How do we know this is a real trend? It wasn't just NewYork! Milan and Paris both saw designer after designer send this fiery hue down the runway.
Now, we know what you're thinking; runway trends are many things: inspirational and directional, yes, but rarely work and life-friendly. Well, as you see here, a bit of clever styling is transformative, making even the most casual looks suitable for a conference room or meeting with clients. We're including two of our favorite prints that use red in an impactful way this fall.
Heirloom Green, is a bold floral print in hunter green, red, blue and black designed by Jeanetta Gonzales. Whatever your whimsy, this print smacks of fall. May we suggest to wear it on our Butterknit, lightweight sweater fabric. It's perfect inside or out and never gets too hot.
Red plays a huge role in every sunset, particularly in our Sedona Sunset, a mesmerizing desert blue, dusky orange and sunset red print with contrasting sleeve designed by JoAnn Lieberman. Shown here in our Waffle Weave, since fall has begun, but by all means choose your whimsy!
